Philadelphia Chippendale Bed

This high post bed, pictured in Mahogany, represents the finest of colonial Philadelphia’s Chippendale Style. English brass escutcheons cover over the bolt holes contributing the bed’s delicate details. Ornamented with carved ball and claw feet, acanthus leaf knees, fluted posts, and carved flame finials on the top, this bed represents the rich tastes of 18th Century Philadelphia’s high society.
