Chippendale Side Chair

This chair offers another variation of the Chippendale style as a side chair. In addition to the carved shells, pierced back-splat, and ball and claw feet, this chair possesses acanthus leaf carvings on the knees, fluted back rails, and carved ears. Pictured in a lightly toned American Walnut this chair also represents the high culture of 18th Century Philadelphia.
