Chippendale Lowboy

Somewhere between tables and chests, lowboys are used for both display and single seating. Pictured in American Walnut this piece is distinguished by its shell carved knees, ball and claw feet, scalloped front, and fluted quarter column corners. The top comprised of a single piece of figured walnut and features pinched carved corners. Often accompanied by a mirror and seat these tables serve well as either dressing tables or as formal parlor tables.
