Attic Rope Bed
Featured in painted poplar this simple twin represents the plain attic rope beds of colonial America. The Pennsylvania style low post features a suppressed ball top and milk bottle vase tunings. Rope pins adorn the beaded rails in keeping with the bed’s period utilitarian style. This bed is fitted with iron brackets and slats below the rails to accommodate modern mattresses, so ropes are not necessary.
