Chippendale Card Table

Unique to the 18th and 19th centuries, gaming tables could serve as small hall tables until needed. Once desired the right back leg connected by a wooden hinge is set out and the double top unfolds, doubling the size of the table to comfortable seat four. Distinct to this table is the carved dragooned skirting, ball and claw feet, and flat panel drawer. Pictured in Mahogany, the drawer has been cut out of the frame keeping a continuous grain pattern across the front.
