This unique piece has a Caribbean flair. Inspired by the styles of the colonial Caribbean its raised frame makes it distinctive, as the dovetail construction brings out the beauty of the mahogany wood on the corners. Inside two hand forged strap hinges hold the top, and to the right of the case, as was typical in blanket chests, hangs a small till box.
